Our client was seeking a leader to build inventory management capability for their purchasing department. Goals for this leader include developing strategic operating plans, developing a team of buyers and purchasing leaders, and development of a replenishment strategy that yielded 100% on time delivery. They were looking for someone to elevate the purchasing department's capability to a strategic function to support the company's strategic growth objectives.
