Laura Waid

Laura Waid joins SCM Talent Group as a Marketing Intern.

Having recently graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing and Business Administration, Laura’s interest in the world of supply chain grew out of her studies and course work. As a member of the Appalachian State Supply Chain Club, she realized that a lucrative career path was possible in supply chain and her psychology minor piqued her interest in using marketing to understand how people think and learn. Laura is committed to advancing SCM Talent Group’s multi-media marketing objectives through the application of her academic insights and strong desire to contribute to SCM Talent’s success.

Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Laura enjoys hiking, swimming and kayaking in the mountains in her free time and can be found on the Blue Ridge Parkway when not working to gain more knowledge of how to enhance SCM Talent’s digital marketing footprint.
