Role Objectives & Challenges
Newly created role reporting into the President of their Materials Business Unit that was to be tasked with centralizing a fragmented Transportation Department while optimizing the function to ultimately be profitable. While collaborating with Senior Leaders across the business, the placed candidate will serve as the Transportation Strategy SME while managing and executing the change necessary to achieve business objectives.
Our Approach to Solve the Search
This was a new client for SCM Talent Group (SCM) and a new role for our Client so establishing trust at the beginning of the search was critical. The client was a dream to work with and gave SCM the autonomy to discuss the role with multiple stakeholders in order to develop the agreed upon role requirements and sourcing strategy. Because of the work put in on the front end, SCM was able to identify a slate of qualified candidates within 2 weeks of kicking off the search. The client was highly engaged throughout the process and was quick with feedback and next steps while providing an outstanding candidate experience to all candidates that interviewed.

32 days after kicking off the search we had a signed offer letter from a highly qualified candidate.
