Role Objectives & Challenges
The client, a company that wholesales components to other manufacturers, was seeking an Inventory Manager who could seamlessly step into a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Ideally, the candidate would come from a non-manufacturing sector, with a preference for backgrounds in wholesale or retail. This role was a backfill position and was part of an effort to reorganize the Raleigh office. The ideal candidate needed a strong understanding of inventory planning fundamentals, including how much inventory needs to be distributed and where it should go.
