Palak Shah

Palak Shah brings over 20 years of executive recruiting experience across supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, retail, food & beverage, BioTech, medical devices, financial services, technology, and more. He began his professional journey after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. He initially worked in Management Consulting as an Analyst at Diamond Technology Partners, a boutique firm in Chicago. In 2004, he transitioned to recruiting at Waltech, a staffing firm in Massachusetts, where he focused on placing junior to mid-level technology professionals.

In 2005, he joined Infosys as a Technology Recruiting Lead, specializing in executive recruitment and training internal leaders in behavioral interviewing techniques. In 2010, Palak transitioned to Guardian Life Insurance as a Senior Technology Recruiter, adopting a more methodical and quality-focused approach.

Palak joined the global Big 4 consulting firm, EY, in 2013, relocating to Atlanta and supporting their Tech Hub expansion by recruiting technology executives across various industries. In 2018, he launched his own boutique recruiting firm, Newsearch Horizons, leveraging a network of over 30,000 professionals and executives. With clients such as EY, X-Chem, Sounding Board, and Huber Engineered Materials, Palak’s firm is built on a foundation of precision, responsiveness, transparency, and subject-matter expertise to deliver high-quality executive recruiting services.
