While this poll may not show conclusively that the pendulum is swinging back in favor of employers, it does indicate a shift. This was conducted on LinkedIn for a period of a week. Talent professionals were asked if the job market is becoming less candidate driven to favor employers more? The by a 17% margin, the respondents indicated that yes it is.
Many of these talent professionals have been interviewing and placing supply chain candidates juggling 3-5 offers at a time. It is likely that they’re seeing that number drop while also showing increased difficulty finding candidates to place.
Again, while not conclusive, this meshes with other anecdotal and data driven evidence showing the pendulum swinging back in favor of employers.
